Timothy E. Marra

Dr. Marra’s distinguished career blends exceptional medical expertise with a strong sense of service and dedication to his patients. After earning his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, he graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then pursued his passion for ophthalmology, completing his residency at the University of Pittsburgh in 2009, where he was honored with the UPMC Eye Center Outstanding Resident Research Award for his contributions to the field.

Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Marra’s credentials reflect his commitment to advancing eye care through both clinical practice and ongoing education. His broad medical foundation is enriched by his unique experience serving as a Flight Surgeon in the U.S. Navy. Dr. Marra completed his internship in Family Medicine at the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton and went on to serve for seven years, including a deployment to Afghanistan with a Marine Aviation Squadron during Operation Enduring Freedom. His service earned him the Navy Commendation and Navy Achievement Medals.
