A proud Tucson native, Dr. Burruel has been an integral part of the Desert Eye team since 2021, combining her deep-rooted knowledge of the community with her passion for exceptional eye care. Dr. Burruel graduated Cum Laude from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiology, laying the foundation for her understanding of the intricate connections between overall health and vision.
Her journey in optometry took her to the prestigious New England College of Optometry, where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree. With a commitment to advancing eye care and personalized patient treatment, Dr. Burruel is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care, blending scientific expertise with a genuine desire to improve the lives of her patients.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Burruel enjoys exploring Tucson's vibrant culture, continuing her education, and connecting with patients on a personal level. She believes in fostering long-lasting relationships built on trust and compassion.
