Dr. Rosen brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his ophthalmology practice, combining his academic excellence, diverse medical background, and years of service in the U.S. Navy. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northern Arizona University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science degree before earning his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Arizona, College of Medicine in 2002.
Following medical school, Dr. Rosen completed a general surgery internship at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, setting the stage for his distinguished military career. From 2004 to 2007, he served as a Flight Surgeon, a role in which he earned the Navy Commendation Medal and was nominated for Navy Flight Surgeon of the Year. Dr. Rosen’s Navy service also earned him the Navy Achievement Medal, further cementing his reputation for excellence and dedication.
Dr. Rosen's global perspective on healthcare was enriched during his time as a general practitioner in New Zealand from 2007 to 2008. He later completed his ophthalmology residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2011, where he honed his skills in surgical precision and patient care.
A proud member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), Dr. Rosen is committed to staying at the forefront of advancements in eye care. His diverse experiences, both in the military and internationally,
