Conditions of the Eye

Cataracts

A cataract is the opacification of the natural lens, which is the portion of the eye immediately behind the iris that acts like the lens of a camera focusing on an image.

Dry Eye Syndrome

Dry eye occurs when the production of tears is not adequate to wet the eyes. Decreased tear production is seen with maturation and is worsened in dry, windy environments.

Macular Degeneration

Macular degeneration is a gradual breakdown of the macula, which is the central part of the light sensitive lining of the back of your eye called the retina.

Computer Vision Syndrome

The ocular symptoms of CVS include blurred vision, sore, dry, irritated, and red eyes, which are caused by the decrease in the blink rate that happens when using the computer.
